In Thunderbird I can drag and drop multiple jpgs into an email

In Thunderbird I can drag and drop multiple jpgs into an email. in the portable version (beta version downloaded downloaded 4-22-17).

I cannot drag even a single jpg into my email. Is there a possibility that this will be in a future version?
