Hello,
it's the second time that my complete Adress book is damaged.
That means, that I can't see any adresses anymore and that TunderbirdP has created a file called abook.mab.bak which can't be imported.

A short term solution for you:
The .mab file is a standard text file with XML-like formatting; it can be opened or viewed in any text editor like notepad or notepad++. So you can still get to your address data. I don't know how to otherwise recover the file.
